Yesterday the teens took a trip up the Shard! Standing at an amazing 309.6 meters high the Shard is the tallest building in the United Kingdom and is an icon of the London skyline! The building was designed by architect Renzo Piano and is said to be inspired by London railway lines.
The students had a lovely afternoon discovering London from the sky and then took a stroll along the Southbank, take a look at the pictures below!
Shakespeare's Globe is a reconstruction of the Globe theatre which was destroyed in the year 1613 by a fire! The students took a break outside the theatre in the afternoon, watching the hustle and bustle as audience members enjoyed a drink in the sunshine during the interval of a Shakespearean play!
