Some Mid Week Fun!

Today at Queen's Gate we have been enjoying the glorious summer weather! The students spent the morning in class working towards their end of week project with their teachers. After a much needed lunch we enjoyed some afternoon activities.
Spending break time out in the lovely English summer!

.

The afternoon activities today were 3D postcard and 'continue the image'.

3D postcards involved the students building pop-up art, drawing a design and then creating the mechanism to allow it to appear 3D. We had all sorts of creations from a double-decker bus to the Brandenburg Gate! Take a look around the school and see if you can spot some of the finished products!

We then sat out on the terrace and worked on an activity called 'continue the image.' The students were each given an A3 piece of paper which had a small square image already on it. The images were of buildings and landscapes. They then used their imagination to complete the image and the results were great, take a look!
